H\u00fck\u00fcmetlerin bu konudaki hassasiyetleri ise, de\u011fi\u015fiklik g\u00f6steriyor. \u00d6zellikle baz\u0131 \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc d\u00fcnya \u00fclkelerinde, kad\u0131na \u015fiddete y\u00f6nelik cezalar bile bulunmuyor. Hatta kad\u0131nlar tecav\u00fcze u\u011frad\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, su\u00e7lular yine kad\u0131nlar oluyor. Nitekim son y\u0131llarda, bu konuda y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarla kad\u0131nlar\u0131n haklar\u0131, t\u00fcm d\u00fcnyada g\u00fcvence alt\u0131na al\u0131nmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131l\u0131yor. D\u00fcnyan\u0131n farkl\u0131 \u00fclkelerinde bulunan insan ve kad\u0131n haklar\u0131 savunucusu aktivist sivil toplum kurulu\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemsenen \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 dikkat \u00e7ekiyor\u2026 Bunun olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 yerlerde ise, g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc kad\u0131nlar hayatta kalmak i\u00e7in sava\u015f veriyorlar. T\u0131pk\u0131 Kenya\u2019da oldu\u011fu gibi. Kenya\u2019da erkek \u015fiddetinden, erkek egemen t\u00f6relerden ve tacizlerden ka\u00e7an kad\u0131nlar, <strong>Umoja i<\/strong>simli bir k\u00f6y kurdu. Bu k\u00f6ye erkeklerin girmesi kesinlikle yasak. Erkek \u00e7ocuklar 18 ya\u015f\u0131na kadar k\u00f6yde kalabiliyor, sonras\u0131nda ise, k\u00f6y\u00fc terk etmek zorundalar. Peki buradaki kad\u0131nlar nas\u0131l ya\u015f\u0131yor?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Umoja Kad\u0131n Dayan\u0131\u015fma ve Birlik K\u00f6y\u00fc<\/strong>, Kenya\u2019da Nyiro yak\u0131ndaki bir nehirin delta \u00fczerindeki arazide kurulu bir kad\u0131nlar k\u00f6y\u00fcd\u00fcr. 1990 y\u0131l\u0131nda kurulan bu k\u00f6y, Ba\u015fkent Nairobi&#8217;ye 380 km uzakl\u0131kta, Samburu il\u00e7esindeki Ok\u00e7ular Post kasabas\u0131 yak\u0131nlar\u0131nda bulunan bir kad\u0131n kolektif k\u00f6yd\u00fcr. Tarihi k\u00f6kleri 60 bin y\u0131l eskilere uzanan bir <strong>Samburu K\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc kad\u0131n\u0131 olan Rebecca Lolosoli <\/strong>taraf\u0131ndan, kad\u0131nlara kar\u015f\u0131 \u015fiddetten kurtulan evsizler ve zorla evliliklerden ka\u00e7an gen\u00e7 k\u0131zlar i\u00e7in bir s\u0131\u011f\u0131nak olarak kuruldu. Samburu Ulusal Rezervi&#8217;ni ziyaret eden turistlerin konuk olarak ziyaret etti\u011fi Umoja K\u00f6y\u00fc\u2019nde; bir ilkokul, bir ana okulu, K\u00fclt\u00fcr Merkezi, Sa\u011fl\u0131k Oca\u011f\u0131, konaklama ve kamp alan\u0131 ve de hediyelik e\u015fyalar\u0131n sat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 yerler bulunmaktad\u0131r. K\u00f6ye fayda sa\u011flamak i\u00e7in, hediyelik e\u015fya ve kendi yapt\u0131klar\u0131 m\u00fccevher \u00fcretip sat\u0131yorlar. \u00d6nemli bir ge\u00e7im kayna\u011f\u0131 sa\u011flamaktad\u0131rlar\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>S\u00f6m\u00fcrgeci \u0130ngiliz askerlerinin tecav\u00fcz etti\u011fi kad\u0131nlar\u0131n kurdu\u011fu \u00f6rnek k\u00f6y<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kenya\u2019da 1965-2002 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda \u00fclkedeki askeri manevralara kat\u0131lan \u0130ngiliz askerlerinin 30 y\u0131l boyunca y\u00fczlerce kad\u0131na tecav\u00fcz ettikleri ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Kad\u0131nlar\u0131n yarg\u0131da seslerini duyurmalar\u0131 2003 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar s\u00fcrerken, 1990\u2019dan itibaren bu kad\u0131nlar\u0131n bir k\u0131sm\u0131 sadece kendilerinin olaca\u011f\u0131 ve erkeklere yasak olan yerle\u015fim yeri kurmaya karar verdiler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu kad\u0131nlardan 14 kadar\u0131 ilk olarak 1990 y\u0131l\u0131nda Umoja Uaso Kad\u0131n Grubu adl\u0131 olu\u015fumu kurarak, zorla evlendirmelere, kad\u0131n s\u00fcnnetine, evi\u00e7i \u015fiddet ve tecav\u00fcze u\u011frayan di\u011fer kad\u0131nlara destek olmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131lar. Umoja Grubu \u00fcyeleri, <strong>15-49 ya\u015f aras\u0131 kad\u0131nlar\u0131n y<\/strong>\u00fczde 45\u2019inin fiziki veya cinsel \u015fiddet ma\u011fduru oldu\u011fu Kenya\u2019da bu a\u011f\u0131r sorunlar\u0131n \u00fczerine gidilmesinde olduk\u00e7a kararl\u0131 idiler. Ancak grubun giderek ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olmas\u0131 nedeniyle tehditler almalar\u0131 nedeniyle daha farkl\u0131 bir olu\u015fuma gitmek zorunda olduklar\u0131 ger\u00e7e\u011fini g\u00f6rd\u00fcler. Umoja, Swahili dilinde \u2018birlik\u2019 anlam\u0131na geliyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2018Bir kad\u0131n asla y\u00f6netemez\u2019 <\/em>mant\u0131\u011f\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kan kad\u0131nlar\u0131n k\u00f6y\u00fc<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7o\u011funlu\u011funu \u00fclkenin orta kesimlerinde ya\u015fayan Samburu halk\u0131na mensup olan kad\u0131nlar, bunun \u00fczerine Umoja\u2019da sadece kad\u0131nlar\u0131n oldu\u011fu bir yerle\u015fim kurdular. Ba\u015fkent Nairobi\u2019ye 300 kilometre uzakl\u0131ktaki <strong>Umoja Kad\u0131n K\u00f6y\u00fc\u2019<\/strong>n\u00fcn kurulmas\u0131 elbette kolay olmam\u0131\u015f. K\u00f6y\u00fcn \u00e7evresinde ya\u015fayan Samburu halk\u0131 i\u00e7erisinde ataerkil yap\u0131 o denli g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc ki, say\u0131lar\u0131 sadece onlarla ifade edilen kad\u0131nlar \u2018rahats\u0131z edici\u2019 bulunmu\u015f. \u201cKesinlikle do\u011fru de\u011fil\u201d, <em>\u201cBir kad\u0131n asla y\u00f6netemez. Bu erkeklerin i\u015fi ve hep b\u00f6yle geldi\u201d <\/em>gibi s\u00f6ylemler olduk\u00e7a yayg\u0131n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kad\u0131nlar\u0131n <em>\u2018Boyun\u2019 e<\/em>rkeklerin <em>\u2018Ba\u015f\u2019<\/em> olarak olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc bir toplumsal dayatmaya kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kan kad\u0131nlar\u0131n k\u00f6y\u00fc<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K\u00f6y\u00fcn kurucular\u0131ndan olan Naguei\u2019ye g\u00f6re, Samburu halk\u0131n\u0131n genel mant\u0131\u011f\u0131nda kad\u0131nlar bedende \u2018boyun\u2019, erkekler ise \u2018ba\u015f\u2019 olarak tasvir ediliyor. Jeune Afrique sitesine konu\u015fan Naguei, <em>\u201cBir kad\u0131n e\u011fer erkek oturuyorsa kendisi ayakta olamaz. Ondan \u00f6nce s\u00f6z alamaz. Ve e\u011fer kad\u0131n\u0131n e\u015fi, onu \u00f6ld\u00fcrmek isterse; yapabilir\u201d <\/em>diyerek, kad\u0131nlar\u0131n toplumundaki yerini \u00f6zetliyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samburu toplumunda kad\u0131nlar\u0131n halen y\u00fczde 80\u2019inin s\u00fcnnet edildi\u011fi biliniyor ve bu da tek ba\u015f\u0131na kad\u0131nlar\u0131n nas\u0131l ac\u0131lara maruz kald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steriyor. Kenya h\u00fck\u00fcmetinin son olarak 2011 y\u0131l\u0131nda kad\u0131n s\u00fcnnetini yasaklamas\u0131 da bu ger\u00e7e\u011fi de\u011fi\u015ftirmiyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halen Umoja k\u00f6y\u00fcnde ya\u015fayan kad\u0131nlar\u0131n \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011funu 1990\u2019l\u0131 y\u0131llarda \u0130ngiliz askerlerinin tecav\u00fcz\u00fcne u\u011fram\u0131\u015f olanlar olu\u015fturuyor. Evlerine d\u00f6nen kad\u0131nlar bizzat e\u015fleri ve aileleri taraf\u0131ndan \u015fiddete maruz kad\u0131nlar, \u2018onurlar\u0131na leke getirdikleri\u2019 gerek\u00e7esiyle d\u0131\u015flanm\u0131\u015flar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>K\u00f6y\u00fcn arsas\u0131n\u0131 kendileri sat\u0131n ald\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kad\u0131nlar\u0131n kendi k\u00f6ylerini kurmak i\u00e7in giri\u015fimleri b\u00f6lgedeki erkekler taraf\u0131ndan sert tepkiyle kar\u015f\u0131lanm\u0131\u015f. K\u00f6y\u00fcn kurucular\u0131ndan Rebecca Lolosoli, 2015 y\u0131l\u0131nda The Guardian\u2019a verdi\u011fi r\u00f6portajda, Umoja\u2019da kendi k\u00f6yleri i\u00e7in arsa sat\u0131n almak istediklerinde erkekler taraf\u0131ndan d\u00f6v\u00fcld\u00fcklerini s\u00f6ylemi\u015fti. Ancak kad\u0131nlar y\u0131lm\u0131yorlar ve Kenya otoritelerinin Umoja Uosa Kad\u0131n Grubu\u2019nu bir kooperatif olarak tan\u0131malar\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131yorlar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D\u00fcnyadaki t\u00fcm madur kad\u0131nlara umut oldular<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ataerkil sisteme ve onun t\u00fcm kad\u0131n d\u00fc\u015fman\u0131 prati\u011fine kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7\u0131kan kad\u0131nlar i\u00e7in Umoja k\u00f6y\u00fc \u00f6nemli bir umut olarak ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor. Her ne kadar koca bir \u00fclkede k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnse de, Samburu kabilesine \u00fcye olan zorla ve erken evlendirilmi\u015f, \u015fiddete ve tecav\u00fcze maruz kalm\u0131\u015f kad\u0131nlar i\u00e7in s\u0131\u011f\u0131nma mekan\u0131 olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K\u00f6yde erkeklerin genel manada haklar\u0131 yokken, kad\u0131nlar\u0131n erkeklerle ili\u015fkilerini belirlemede \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fckleri mevcut. Yani t\u00fcm\u00fcyle erkekler d\u0131\u015flanm\u0131yor ve bu kad\u0131nlar\u0131n bireysel karar\u0131na b\u0131rak\u0131l\u0131yor. Fakat k\u00f6yde say\u0131lar\u0131 200\u2019e yak\u0131n olan \u00e7ocuklar i\u00e7erisinde yeti\u015fkin ya\u015fa gelen erkeklerin kendi ba\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7aresine bakmalar\u0131 isteniyor. Kad\u0131nlar burada kendi ekonomik ya\u015famlar\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6rg\u00fctlerken, ilk ba\u015flarda m\u0131s\u0131r ve \u015feker satt\u0131klar\u0131 seyyar d\u00fckkanlarla ge\u00e7imlerini sa\u011flam\u0131\u015flar. Ancak sonras\u0131nda b\u00f6lgeye gelen turistlere y\u00f6nelik \u00fcr\u00fcnler yaparak satm\u0131\u015flar ve sonras\u0131nda ald\u0131klar\u0131 e\u011fitimlerle b\u00f6lgeye daha fazla turist \u00e7ekmeyi ba\u015farm\u0131\u015flar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ba\u015fka k\u00f6ylerde kuruluyor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Umoja\u2019da onlarca kad\u0131n erkeklerin olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir ya\u015fam s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcrken, belli bir s\u00fcre sonra kimi kad\u0131nlar buradan ayr\u0131larak ba\u015fka k\u00f6yler de kurmu\u015flar. \u0130lerleyen y\u0131llarda Umoja\u2019da \u2018demokratik y\u00f6netim\u2019 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 savunan baz\u0131 kad\u0131nlar ise ba\u015fka yerle\u015fimler kurmaya y\u00f6nelmi\u015fler. Umoja\u2019n\u0131n d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda b\u00f6lgede 3 ayr\u0131 kad\u0131n kom\u00fcn\u00fc daha kurulmu\u015f ve bunlar\u0131n da her birinde onlarca kad\u0131n ya\u015famaya devam ediyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mutluluk K\u00f6y\u00fc\u2019nde Erkekler<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kurulan di\u011fer kom\u00fcnlerde kad\u0131n-erkek ili\u015fkileri farkl\u0131 bi\u00e7imlerde belirlenmi\u015f. \u00d6rne\u011fin \u2018Mutluluk\u2019 anlam\u0131na gelen Nang\u2019ida k\u00f6y\u00fcnde e\u015fleriyle birlikte ya\u015famak isteyen erkeklerin ya\u015famas\u0131na izin veriliyor. Tabii, sadece \u2018k\u00f6y\u00fcn kurallar\u0131na uyma\u2019 \u015fart\u0131yla. Nang\u2019ida\u2019n\u0131n kurucusu Rose, \u201c<em>Erkekler isterlerse geri d\u00f6nebilirler. Sonras\u0131nda ise, Nachami\u2019den ayr\u0131lan baz\u0131 kad\u0131nlar, 2011 y\u0131l\u0131nda <strong>\u2018Unity\u2019<\/strong> adl\u0131 k\u00f6y\u00fc kuruyorlar. Buradaki kad\u0131nlar\u0131n \u00f6nceli\u011fi kad\u0131n haklar\u0131 ve sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n\u0131n e\u011fitimi. T\u00fcm bu kad\u0131n k\u00f6ylerinin giderek b\u00f6lgedeki bask\u0131c\u0131 sistemi zorlad\u0131klar\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. Her ne kadar \u00e7evredeki k\u00f6ylerden kendilerine kat\u0131l\u0131m s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 kalsa da, evlerinde kalan kad\u0131nlar\u0131n bilin\u00e7lendirilmesinde \u00f6nemli bir rol oynad\u0131klar\u0131 bilinen bir ger\u00e7ek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tarihi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Umoja K\u00f6y\u00fcnde ya\u015fayan Samburu Kad\u0131nlar<\/strong>\u0131, toplumda horlanan alt bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr konumuna sahiptiler. Arazi veya hayvanc\u0131l\u0131k gibi di\u011fer m\u00fclk t\u00fcrlerine sahip olmalar\u0131na izin verilmezdi. Kad\u0131nlar\u0131n kendileri, erkek egemen toplumsal yap\u0131 gere\u011fi, kocalar\u0131n\u0131n m\u00fclk\u00fc olarak kabul edilirdi. \u00c7ocuk ya\u015fta uydulanan kad\u0131n s\u00fcnneti, ya\u015fl\u0131larla zorla evlilik, tecav\u00fcz ve aile i\u00e7i \u015fiddete maruz kalabilirler. <strong>S\u00f6m\u00fcrgecilik zamandan beri, \u0130ngiliz ordusuna kar\u015f\u0131 1400&#8217;den fazla Samburu kad\u0131n\u0131na tecav\u00fcz davas\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131. <\/strong>Bu kad\u0131nlar, kocalar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan terk edildi. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc <strong><em>&#8220;kirletilmi\u015f&#8221; <\/em><\/strong>olarak kabul edilirdi. O, y\u00fcksek sesle konu\u015ftu\u011fu i\u00e7in d\u00f6v\u00fcld\u00fckten sonra, hastaneye kald\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131 ve iyile\u015fti\u011finde kad\u0131nlar i\u00e7in, bir k\u00f6y yaratma fikrini ortaya koydu.
