Gezi yaz\u0131lar\u0131nda yaln\u0131z gezilip g\u00f6r\u00fclen yerlerin do\u011fal \u00f6zelliklerinin belirtilmesiyle yetinilmez. O yerlerdeki insanlar\u0131n gelenek, g\u00f6renek ve zevkleri de tan\u0131t\u0131lmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131l\u0131r. Do\u011fru bilgi ve g\u00f6zlemlere dayal\u0131 gezi yaz\u0131lar\u0131 do\u011fa, arkeoloji, tarih, co\u011frafya, toplumbilim, folklor gibi bilim dallar\u0131 i\u00e7inde, yararl\u0131 bir kaynak olarak de\u011ferlendirilebilir. Bu t\u00fcr yaz\u0131lar; merak etme, ke\u015ffetme, hayat\u0131 belgeleme gibi ki\u015finin \u00f6\u011frenme ve yeni bilgilerle donanma istek ve arzusunu, sanatsal anlat\u0131m ve g\u00f6rsel destekle beslenme, ayr\u0131ca okurlar\u0131n genel k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerini geli\u015ftirmede \u00f6nemli bir rol oynar.<\/p>\n<p>Gezi yaz\u0131lar\u0131, ger\u00e7ekten ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015f bir hayat kesiminin, \u00f6yk\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcd\u00fcr. Bu t\u00fcr yaz\u0131lar\u0131n a\u011f\u0131r basan y\u00f6n\u00fc, anlat\u0131lanlar\u0131n dikkatli bir g\u00f6zleme dayanm\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131d\u0131r. Yazar \u015f\u00fcphesiz, g\u00f6rd\u00fcklerini anlat\u0131rken an\u0131lar\u0131ndan s\u00f6z edebilir, birtak\u0131m yaz\u0131l\u0131 veya s\u00f6zel kaynaklardan yararlanabilir, kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmalar ve \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlemeler yapabilir. G\u00f6rmeyi hayal ettikleri yerleri, usta yazarlar\u0131n arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla tan\u0131maktan, gezer gibi olmaktan zevk duyarlar.<\/p>\n<p>Bir gezi yaz\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n kendi t\u00fcr\u00fcnde de\u011ferli olabilmesi, baz\u0131 nitelikler ta\u015f\u0131mas\u0131na ba\u011fl\u0131d\u0131r.
